College - Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Bachelor of Science, Dairy Husbandry 1984, Masters of Science, Agriculture Education 1992.

Classes I teach - Agriculture Mechanics, Construction and Repair of Farm Equipment, Farm Shop, Agriculture Leadership, and  Agriculture Economics

What I aspire to be like as a teacher - I try to get kids excited to learn about agriculture. 

Who inspires me - My students.

Fun facts about me - I like to fish, golf, farm and look forward to being a grandpa!

My favorite part about teaching agriculture - Seeing my students be successful.




Jesse Meade

High School - El Capitan HS class of 2000

College - Cuyamaca College and UC Davis, I majored in Animal Science and Management with an emphasis on the production of animal protein. Minor in chemistry.

Classes I teach - Advanced inner disciplinary science class and California agriculture.

What I aspire to be like as a teacher - An effective teacher that promotes a love for agriculture knowledge with enough humor and sarcasm to keep it interesting.

Who inspires me - My parents, because they are honest, hard-working and selfless people.

Fun facts about me - I like to hunt, spend time with my family, and breed and raise pigs.

My favorite part about teaching agriculture - Teaching students about science and agriculture, coaching judging teams, working on agriscience fair projects and assisting students outside of class.



April Perez 

High School - Julian High School 1992

College -  Cal Poly SLO, I majored in Animal Science.

Classes I teach -  Agriculture Biology and Agriculture Soil Chemistry

What I aspire to be like as a teacher - Knowledgeable, Fair, Good rapport with students, supportive and provide an environment where students feel safe.

Who inspires me - My Mom

Fun facts about me -  I have 6 children ages 23, 19, 12, 10, 4 and 1.  I like to train horses in my “free time” and I enjoy baking and gardening.

My favorite part about teaching agriculture -  The students!




Brenda Davis-Landini

High School - Dayton high school class of 1983 

College - I attended Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts

Classes I teach - Floral design and Agriculture Government 

What I aspire to be like as a teacher -  I always want to provide my students with proper knowledge and make my classroom a fun and skillful workplace.

Who inspires me - People Who overcome hardships 

Fun facts about me - I Speak Italian, I love gardening, and have a very cute dog!

My favorite part about teaching agriculture - Being able to work with flowers every day.
